Unspeakable Words - Sarah Madison Started kind of slow, but picked up speed by the second half. I very much liked Jeff and Flynn together, they made so much sense. I also liked that the fact of "being gay" in and of itself wasn't the big deal for Flynn, but rather the revelation about himself and the rewriting of his own person he had to do. Jerry's little quirks were adorable. The cats were not really necessary for the plot - I loved them nevertheless, they gave color and depths to the characters and their lives. And I also loved the literaric hints, starting with Jerry's name (G-Man Jerry Cotton and his friend Parker), and Dick Francis's Smokescreen and so on. I warmly recommend this suspenseful, smoothly written read - even though I'd really, dearly love to learn what that device was!
